Our Spring Menus Are Here!
We sat down with Chef Kevin to talk about a few new dishes. Here’s what he had to say about them.
Potato Leek Soup
“This soup has always been one of my favorites. It’s so simple but effective and is a big part of why I like leeks. It is light and hearty at the same time.”
Artichoke Dip
“Another classic has made it on the menu. I have found that artichokes have become less widely used especially in privately-owned restaurants. Cheesy, creamy, nutty and easy to share.”
Shrimp
“This dish is another French/American Southern mesh but the dish as a whole came from a Malaysian shrimp dish I used to make. Vegetable heavy, brings freshness with a crisp dill buerre blanc, and sunflower kernels for flavor and texture.”
Peanut Butter Pie
“Desserts have always been my greatest strength—flavors, textures, plating. Peanuts are one of my all time favorite foods and being in Virginia it makes sense. This is a free-form mousse on a Graham streusel. Rich and velvety where the honey and chocolate help to balance the flavors.”
We want our menu options to be approachable and include variety so there is something for everyone. Thank you for your feedback; our chef is listening.
